Position Overview: They are seeking a seasoned Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join their leadership team. This pivotal role involves overseeing multiple shop fitting and retail fit-out projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Health & Safety Leadership: Champion and enforce health and safety regulations across all projects, fostering a culture of safety and compliance. Comprehensive Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of multiple shop fitting and retail fit-out projects, anticipating challenges, and implementing effective solutions to ensure seamless delivery. Strategic Resource Management: Oversee internal teams and external subcontractors, identify skill gaps, and lead recruitment efforts to build a robust workforce. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the principal liaison with senior client construction managers, nurturing strong relationships and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Process and System Development: Design and implement efficient systems and processes to ensure consistency, resilience, and scalability across all projects and team members. Business Development Collaboration: Work closely with the Managing Director to identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding our client base and project portfolio. Qualifications and Experience: Extensive experience in shop fitting and retail fit-out project management, delivering multiple projects concurrently. Strong strategic thinking abilities, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, managing time-sensitive tasks with composure and efficiency. Proven leadership in team management, resource allocation, and process implementation. In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction and shop fitting industry.
