Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join a growing Renewable Energy team. The team works with a diverse client base, including developers, investors, landowners, funders, communities and planning authorities in Scotland’s renewable energy sector. This role is suitable for a solicitor with experience in energy law or those from a commercial property or rural background who are looking to transition into the renewable energy industry. Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate documents such as exclusivity agreements, options and leases Conduct due diligence on renewable energy projects Provide legal support to clients in the renewables supply chain Projects will include wind, hydro, rooftop and ground-mounted solar, battery storage, marine and emerging green hydrogen sectors.
