Job Title: Audit Senior Location: Edinburgh or North East England Contract Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Audit Senior to join a growing accountancy and advisory firm with a strong presence across the UK for their Edinburgh office. Our client is a top-ten UK accountancy practice and the largest SME-focused practice and this is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise and work with an industry-diverse client base. About The Role As an Audit Senior, you will: Take ownership of your portfolio with the guidance of experienced managers. Contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets. Build strong and enduring relationships with a range of clients. Execute and complete audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical procedures, often at client premises. Plan and finalise audit assignments with thorough documentation for partner or manager review. Prepare statutory financial statements using client data, identifying potential risk areas and key concerns. Provide support and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their development. To be considered for the role we would love you to be: ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent. experienced in Auditing clients across various industries, with a solid understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP. able to coach and mentor junior staff effectively. You would work within a collaborative environment where your growth and success are priorities and you are in control of driving your career.
