Job Advert: SEND Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you have experience working within a classroom setting to help pupils thrive? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive one-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Islington. This school offers stunning facilities and fosters a rich, fulfilling teaching and learning environment. Role Details: Start Date: Immediate Pay Rate: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience) with a pay rise after 12 weeks Contract Type: Long-term, full-time (Monday to Friday, 08:30 am-4:00 pm) Location: Islington, LondonResponsibilities: Work within the school's SEND Unit, providing tailored support to pupils in KS1 and KS2 with special educational needs. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure pupils are engaged and progressing in their learning. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, using your expertise to meet individual learning needs.Requirements: Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND in a classroom setting. A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
