COMMERCIAL MANAGER NEW OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE IN BIRMINGHAM FOR A COMMERCIAL MANAGER TO JOIN A GROWING AEROSPACE & DEFENCE BUSINESS UNIT Hybrid role, averaging 2 days per week on-site Can be Bristol, London, Manchester, or Birmingham based Up to £80,000 per annum SC clearance required (or the ability to obtain it) WHAT WILL THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER BE DOING? The role of the Commercial Manager encompasses varying duties from improving the skills and experience of the wider commercial team to reviewing, drafting, and negotiating different types of agreements, such as prime and subcontracts, NDAs, MOUs, teaming agreements, and back-to-back subcontracts. Other responsibilities include: Leading the commercial governance process for bids Analysing and negotiating contract terms and conditions Commercial risk identification, mitigation, and management WE NEED THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING… Several years' experience in sales and/or procurement commercial management, willing to work in both fields. Either Aerospace, Defence or Central Government industry experience Good grasp of contract law Knowledge of contractual documents including NDAs and MOUs Knowledge of UK Export Controls and ITAR is desirable SC clearance or the ability to obtain is essential TO BE CONSIDERED….
