Job Description
We are seeking Electrical supervisors for long term contracts in Douvrin France, candidates must be fluent in French and have the right to work in France or EU. Electrical Supervisor JD Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Monitoring : Oversee the installation and execution of electrical and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) equipment. Ensure work is carried out according to plans and standards. Subcontractor Management : Organize, monitor, and report on subcontractors' activities on-site, ensuring alignment with project requirements. Planning & Coordination : Develop and implement daily and weekly coordination plans to optimize workflows and improve efficiency. Technical Problem-Solving : Propose and implement technical solutions in compliance with established rules and guidelines. Schedule Management : Define and maintain work schedules to coordinate on-site activities effectively. Quality Assurance : Identify non-conformities, report them to relevant stakeholders (including the QHSE Manager), and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Inspections & Compliance : Conduct evaluations, inspections, and quality assessments. Ensure subcontractor compliance with the Exyte Quality System and French regulatory requirements. Document Control : Prepare, review, and approve applicable documents, templates, records, and evaluations. Site Inspections : Perform regular site inspections, oversee subcontractors' work, and verify sampling. Conduct specific inspections during the construction phase, both on-site and at manufacturers' facilities. Testing & Commissioning : Supervise electrical tests, verify and follow-up on Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities. Non-Conformance Management : Open and manage non-conformance reports and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken. Qualifications and Skills: Education : Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial construction on multi-disciplinary (TCE) sites. Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of industrial construction phases and standards (NFC15100, NFC13100, NFC13200). Electrical accreditations: B2/BC/BE/B2V. Familiarity with MS Project, AutoCAD, and Caneco (preferred). Regulatory Compliance : Authorization to work at height and use PPE. Valid residence permit required for foreign workers. Soft Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Dynamic, detail-oriented, and solution-focused. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent under pressure, with strong negotiation skills. Languages : Fluent French and good proficiency in English. Computer Proficiency : Competent in MS Office tools.
