Job Description
Overview: Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the candidate will lead the team to provide professional service to our guests, ensuring functionality and safety of all the property infrastructure, organizing repairs, installation, and renovation projects. The candidate will be key to ensure our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike. Responsibilities: Support the Engineering Manager in carrying out the daily activities. Coordinate repair and maintenance of the hotel premises. Take care of electrical and plumbing tasks and activities. Support the Engineering Manager in administrative tasks such as budget preparation, purchase orders, and CAPEX. Establish and maintain labor relations with external suppliers and partners. Support the Engineering Manager in IT-related activities if needed. Qualifications: 2-year minimum experience in a similar position and in a 5 hotel. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, together with familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer, and HVAC systems are all vital. The ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly, combined with problem-solving aptitude, are of high importance. Excellent organizational and leadership skills are core characteristics for the position. Experience in administrative processes (e.g., support in budgeting, performance management, purchase orders, and CAPEX) would be considered as important assets.
