MISSION Reporting to the QHSE Head, this role will provide the Italy Business Unit with the means and practices for safe and healthy work performance by developing safety, health, and environmental plans, policies, and practices that protect employees and the environment. Ensure that project deliverables and project execution meet internal and external quality requirements through the development of quality plans, policies, and good practices. RESPONSIBILITIES Define, coordinate, and ensure compliance with existing health and safety, environmental, and quality obligations in the projects developed by Zelestra during their development, construction, operation, and maintenance phases. Organize internal resources and ensure internal coordination with other BU areas. Manage the BU/country environmental, health and safety, and quality budget. Oversee compliance with Zelestra's QHSE policies. Monitor and advise BU areas to ensure proper implementation of management systems. Participate in funding processes with the generation of environmental, project health and safety, and quality information. Manage the identification and evaluation of compliance with applicable legislation, standards, regulations, health and safety, and environmental requirements on a regular basis in all BU work centers. Prepare and submit safety, health, environmental, and quality reports within the deadlines defined by funding and/or clients. Manage, maintain, and safeguard the management system files. Manage external second and third-party audits. Ensure the proper use of management system applications. Calculate and validate health and safety and environmental indicators for all BU work centers. Report to the BU CEO and the corporate area on the performance of the Safety and Health and Environmental Management System, accident rate, as well as accident investigations including needs for improvement. Report to BU and Corporate Management on the performance of the Quality System. Implement transversal actions to improve procedures related to QHSE. Discuss PAC (Provisional Acceptance Certificate) and FAC (Final Acceptance Certificate) or Test on Completion procedures to be agreed with Clients and Contractors/Suppliers, including the PR procedure. Support in tenders (Quality costs and requirements) and support in closing major contracts. Follow up and support in quality issues. Serve as the point of contact with stakeholders for QHSE matters related to the BU. JOB REQUIREMENTS Engineering Degree, Master's Degree in Engineering, or Bachelor's Degree. Superior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, specializing in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics or equivalent degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. Complementary Education: Master in environmental matters. Technical Knowledge: Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems. ISO 9001:2015; ISO 45001:2018; and ISO 14001:2015 standards. HSE legislation and permits. English. Knowledge of national and international quality-related standards. At least 5 years of experience in management and supervision of safety, risk prevention, quality, and environmental systems and processes in the renewable and/or construction sector. Management of human teams. Availability for domestic and international travel.
