Construction Manager

Construction Manager - Rail | £51,000 - £56,000 | North East UK | Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee rail construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of the rail industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of rail construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in managing rail construction projects, including track, station, or infrastructure works.
• Strong understanding of rail industry standards, regulations, and practices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Logistics:

• £51,000 - £56,000 pa. + great benefits
• Multi-location, can be based out of numerous locations across the North East
• Role will be heavily on-site across stations/depots but will have some home-based days
