Job Description
Alexander Steele are working in partnership with an established multi-site food manufacturing business which are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner/Executive within the materials team.
Key Responsibilities
- Placing orders for packaging materials from a well-established network of supply partners.
- Reviewing packaging requirements in line with the Supply & Demand Plan and packaging forecasts.
- Managing packaging stock levels across various business locations, coordinating with packing centre teams and transport to ensure materials are in the right place at the right time.
- Proactively working with suppliers to guarantee deliveries are made on time and in full.
- Taking the lead on complaints and investigations with packaging suppliers, driving continuous improvement in supplier performance.
- Overseeing packaging run-outs and managing new product launches in collaboration with suppliers and internal project teams.
- Supporting ad hoc requests for the packaging team and contributing actively to the Supply Chain team with a flexible, adaptable, and business-focused approach.
On Offer
- A salary of £30,000 - £33,000, flexibility for an outstanding candidate.
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - hybrid working.
- 33 days AL.
- Pension.
