Project Manager (Mobile Apps / Tech) JOB DESCRIPTION : POSITION : Project Manager - IT (Mobile Apps / Tech) DESIGNATION : Senior Manager / Chief Manager / Assistant Vice President POSITION GRADE : L4 / L5 / L6 DEPARTMENT : Information Technology SUB DEPARTMENT : IT Development REPORTING POSITION : L7A WORK LOCATION : Any Metro city in India OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE : - Implementing changes and executing projects in the application. - Be the technical owner and maintain a portfolio of web / mobile applications - Work on all modern technologies KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Understand user's current process and requirements and assist in defining Technical/Functional Solutions - Keeping budget and timelines meeting - Ensure SLAs are met with vendor - Ensure Traceability of all functional and non - functional requirement from Requirements to Implementation and Transition to support teams - Review Functional and Technical design provided by vendor partners - Day to Day coordination with user and vendor partners - Create and manage the plan for the planned releases and projects - Assemble and coordinate the internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team. - Ensure Pre - UAT testing is done and verify if release is ready for UAT - Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans - Own the communication and execution of solution handover to Business, service delivery, technology and other team members at designated milestones - Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation and presentations. - Ensure projects are completed within time and stipulated budget - Own and manage the production support of the application owned - Managing audit - Targeting higher uptime and lower downtime - Automation of processes - Work on delivery of projects - Work on regulatory framework INTERACTIONS : Internal Relations : Vertical Heads and Project teams External Relations : Vendor Partners REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS Educational Qualifications : Graduation : (BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (IT)) Post - Graduation : MCA / M Tech Work Experience : 7 years . Experience in managing mobile applications Experience in insurance industry / BFSI is preferred Certifications : Other skills : 1. Behavioral : - Good Analytical/Problem Solving skills - Good Communication and Inter personal skills Skills : - Understanding of Web Applications, Micro services and PL SQL queries - Knowledge of SDLC (software development life cycle) - Knowledge and experience of various Project Management Methodologies - Good understanding of Trouble shooting and architecture (ref:hirist.tech)
