Salary: Competitive, based on experience £120-£160 per day

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Primary Maths Lead to join a well-established primary school in Maldon, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher with a passion for mathematics to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the development of the school's maths curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the mathematics curriculum across the school.
Provide leadership and guidance to teaching staff, supporting them with planning, assessment, and teaching strategies.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of maths teaching, ensuring all students make excellent progress.
Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to implement and uphold high standards in mathematics education.
Lead staff training and professional development on effective maths teaching strategies.
Engage with parents and carers to support students’ mathematical development.
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary teaching experience.
Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and experience leading a primary maths curriculum.
A proven track record of raising standards and ensuring progress in maths.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Passion for fostering a love of maths in students and staff alike.
Ability to inspire and support a team of teachers to achieve their best.
