Press Brake Operator

£14.37 to £15.09 per hour
A leading Sheffield fabrication company, a true success story with 35 years trading and employing 180 staff, are looking for a Press Brake Operator who will be involved with the daily setup and operation of computer-controlled press brakes.
The business supplies various sectors including Construction Equipment, Trucks & Trailers, Waste Solutions and others.
The company is expanding, and the order book is growing as they continue to win new contracts.

* An apprenticed or time-served Press Brake Operator responsible for the daily setup and operation of computer-controlled press brakes to perform one or more machine functions on steel products.
* Produce components requiring interpretation of engineering drawings, aided by jigs and templates.
* Programme a component accurately to any engineering drawing.
* Operate to a high standard and fully understand comprehensive bend symbols and technical data on engineering drawings.
* Self-inspections with use of hand tools including calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
* Someone who is looking for long-term security and stability.
Operational hours,
06:00 to 14:00 – Monday to Friday
14:00 to 24:00 – Monday to Thursday
* overtime is available
