Job Description

REQUIREMENTS Matric, relevant qualification advantageous Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing and production management role Understanding of procurement and production processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines Strong leadership and team management skills Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred DUTIES Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and high-quality materials Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production needs Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to forecast demand and plan production accordingly Oversee the entire supply chain process from purchasing to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient production schedules Conduct regular supplier evaluations and take corrective actions when necessary Manage production costs and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement Lead and train the production teams to ensure efficient and effective operations Monitor and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and standards Inputting data into our Inventory Management system and ensuring correct processing of inventory This function will be primarily work in an office setting and will be required to get involved in the factory from time to time Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
