Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic environment where to build your professional career? We are looking for a Driveability Application Engineer to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of Vehicle Applications and Controls. You will be responsible for the delivery of the Driveability attributes across all the Lamborghini applications. Your main activities will be: Setting the Driveability attributes targets in line with the Company directions High level hybrid strategies definition. Software development and calibration Engine and gearbox software function development and debug Identification and analysis of future development for the driveability attribute Delivering the driveability calibrations in line with the attribute targets for all the Lamborghini projects Attending test trips to support development activities. About you Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Physics, Engineering, or an equivalent education. Strong passion for automotive design and development. 3-5 years’ Industry experience related to internal combustion engine or powertrain systems development. Very good level comprehension of control strategies for gasoline combustion engine and/or hybrids systems. Extensive knowledge and competences in terms of calibration activities and processes. Extensive knowledge of both hybrid and BEV systems. Good level of knowledge of the MathWorks tools like Matlab and Simulink. Good level of knowledge of the ETAS and VECTOR software like Inca and Canapè. Fluent English, Italian, and German will be considered a plus. Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, as well as a high affinity for tracking supplier and delivering first-quality products to the customer. Strong communication skills. Excellent problem-solving skills for complex automotive powertrain & chassis control systems. Flexibility and adaptability. Proactive, well organized, diligent, and reliable. Availability to travel.
