Renewables/Energy, Global Risk Lead

We are partnered with a leading alternative investment manager who are seeking to hire a senior risk professional to own the Infrastructure & Clean Energy portfolios, globally. Covering both equity and debt investments, the successful candidate will operate as a risk advisor and consultant, as well as providing oversight and challenge.

Responsibilities and Required Experience:

• Develop and enhance risk framework and processes, embedding systems and models to drive best practice.
• Partner with portfolio managers on portfolio construction, challenging and highlighting issues.
• Chair risk meetings with investment professionals.
• Oversee, articulate and challenge investment decisions of partners.
• Provide support and advice on new product development
• Deep knowledge of Renewable Energy - wind farms, solar, biomass etc.
• Experience in research, portfolio management or transaction underwriting preferable
