Job Description:

Proclinical is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to support the delivery of a high-quality, evidence-based, customer-focused Occupational Health (OH) service. You will work closely with the OH team to achieve strategic and operational objectives, applying specialist knowledge in health surveillance and health capability assessments. This role involves active participation in health surveillance, data management, and compliance with OH policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct health surveillance and health capability assessments (e.g., audiometry, spirometry, vision testing).

- Generate OH metrics and support OH clinical staff in demonstrating the function's value.

- Analyze health trends to identify workplace hazards and improve employee performance and wellbeing.

- Implement and support projects aligned with the Health & Wellbeing/EHS strategy.

- Collaborate with the UK Occupational Health Service team and other key stakeholders.

- Manage assigned health surveillance/health capability work, providing clear decisions and opinions.

- Provide clear and concise outcome letters in accordance with data management processes.

- Maintain knowledge and mandatory training to deliver effective health surveillance/health capability monitoring.

Key Skills and Requirements:

- Occupational Health Technician training and qualification.

- Experience in a centralised service model and as a health surveillance practitioner.

- Proficiency in spirometry, audiometry, and medical data software systems.

- Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
