Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s Highways Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a main contractor on a new project valued at over £25 million. Joining in the earlier stages of this long-term delivery, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of this development in local infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the team in managing budgets, contracts, and project progress
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery including minor resolution disputes.
Maintain accurate records and reports on project expenditureIdeal Candidate:
Hold a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., degree, RICS membership, etc.)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying within the highways or civil engineering sectors.
Strong understanding of cost management processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
