Your Career
Step into the role of New Business Sales Manager and lead a dynamic team of Sales Executives to drive revenue growth within the public sector, focusing on organisations with fewer than 100 employees. This is an opportunity to shape MHR’s sales strategy, inspire a high-performing team, and deliver meaningful solutions to the public sector. Your Team
As the New Business Sales Manager, you’ll lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product experts, to develop tailored sales strategies that meet the unique challenges of the public sector. Your ability to coach and inspire your team will be critical in driving individual and collective success while ensuring alignment with MHR’s broader business objectives.

- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in selling to the public sector, with an understanding of its unique challenges.
- Strong knowledge of the Payroll and Human Resources market, including managed service delivery.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities to inspire high-performing teams.
- Expertise in consultative, value-based selling, with the ability to create compelling sales propositions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline management and sales reporting.
- Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of New Business Sales Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a high-performance culture through regular feedback, training, and development initiatives.
- Promote consultative, value-based selling techniques to inspire the team and enhance sales outcomes.
- Deliver contract revenues aligned with MHR’s business plan and individual sales targets.
- Self-generate and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers, leading sales activities from engagement to deal closure.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the Payroll and Human Resources market and public sector requirements.
- Leverage market insights to craft tailored sales propositions and drive competitive advantage.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes to maintain a forward-looking approach.
- Maintain accurate prospect information and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare high-quality sales documentation to ensure professionalism and continuity.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and insights into competitive activity and market trends.
- Represent MHR with integrity, quality, and attention to detail in all sales activities.
- Uphold the company’s professional image and ensure adherence to quality standards.
