To take full responsibility of a new dedicated contract, embedding new contract during transition period and deliver operational efficiencies, service levels, people management and commercial targets in line with the specific clients commercial arrangement and or service level agreement.


The role includes delivering continuous improvement opportunities across the business systems and process. In addition, maintaining and developing customer relationships at a tactical level.


Supporting the Implementation of company standards through the appropriate use of Citation and the relevant ISO audits and maintaining compliance.

PROCESS- Responsible for delivering continuous improvement initiatives, to improve efficiencies & productivity opportunities,

PROFIT - Accountable for delivering overall designated client budget, contractual service levels and KPI’s


KEY RESULTS AREAS (ACCOUNTABILITIES)


People


Deliver employee engagement amongst the workforce and develop action plans accordingly in conjunction with the Site Manager

Monitor compliance to Noatum Policies & Procedures, cascading new policies as launched, to all

Develop strong working relationship with colleagues through open forums and engagement meetings

Deliver all forms of communication incl briefs, management meetings, visual aids and performance boards

Deliver continuous performance management of the operational team, through 121 meetings & performance reviews

Develop a close working relationship with the Client’s operational team, delivering customer expectations in line with costs, service levels, measured by internal reporting and customer feedback.


Process


Deliver H&S standards so accidents ratings are at targets levels or below, collaborate with Health and Safety Manager on all aspects of compliance management and reporting

Manage the deployment of labour, ensuring all operational deadlines are met and within costs

Develop a close working relationship with the Site Management team ensuring the teams contribution to overall network efficiencies. Measured by daily/weekly / monthly site team meetings

Responsible for effectively escalating, operational issues which may constitute a failure on the part of The Company to meet its contractual or other obligations, to the Contracts General Manager in a timely and professional manner

Deliver continuous improvement methodologies into the operation as agreed with the CGM, these must include as a minimum 5s workplace standards.


Profit


Take responsibility for delivering contractual EBITDA for dedicated client

Achieve budgeted levels of productivity and adherence to all KPI’s and delivery of service levels as contractually agreed to avoid any commercial liability, taking appropriate action in the event of failure on service levels.

Through training and mentoring of the team Implement good safety practice

Through effective resource planning ensure service levels are maintained at budgeted levels

Deliver MSOP’s weekly or monthly and reported via a contract dashboard including operational/service objectives

Encourage the team to deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives for the site.

Deliver legal compliance and governance to Health and Safety Legislation

Measure KPI performance through the use of weekly productivity reports and weekly / monthly financial statements


DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY


Guidelines and processes:


• Noatum Policies and procedures.

• ISO standards as decided by the business for example 9001/14001/18001

• Health and Safety performance and actions

• Facilities reporting

• Legal compliance

• Noatum Behaviours

• Accident investigation and decision making

• WMS system management and control


This role requires decision making for the general day to day work planning, examples below:

• Department operations and working practices.

• Delivering projects requested by the Senior Management Team and/or potential customer request as agreed with CGM

• Financial management, within levels of agreed budget

• Decision making around forecasted volumes in line with orders and flex budgets and resource plans

• Team development and identification of training requirements – Including agency employees
