White Label is representing an engineering business in Sheffield that require an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

My client is globally recognised and is a leader in their field with a healthy order book.

My client is offered an attractive package of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience plus 33 days holiday, enhanced pension, healthcare and more.

Duties of the Electrical Design Engineer

• Develop comprehensive functional design specifications for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet operational and safety requirements.
• Design, program, and maintain PLC control systems.
• Create detailed and accurate cable schedules, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure all designs and systems adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
• Attend customer sites as and when required.

Experience required of the Electrical Design Engineer

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Be able to demonstrate knowledge of PLC control systems, with particular emphasis on creating functional design specifications
• Willing to travel to customer sites both in the UK and overseas as and when required
