Hours: PM shift = 1.00pm - 9.00pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including picking, packing, sorting, and moving stock and materials within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from inventory, pack them securely, and prepare them for shipping.
• Inventory Management: Organize and stock products, materials, and supplies, ensuring the warehouse is tidy and inventory levels are accurate.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods from trucks or other delivery vehicles, using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Quality Control: Inspect goods for defects or damages and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Record Keeping: Use warehouse management systems to track inventory, enter data, and process orders.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Comply with company policies and regulations.
• General Warehouse Duties: Carry out additional duties, such as cleaning work areas and helping with stock rotation, as required.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential.
• Must have a car or motorbike
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Teamwork Skills: Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Adaptability: Willingness to take on different tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment.
• License (Optional): Forklift or pallet jack certification may be an advantage.
