Gas Engineer/Plumber

£35k - £55k
We are working with an established Construction and Engineering company. They are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer/Plumber to join their team, with responsibility for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heating systems.
In this role, you will conduct thorough inspections of gas systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Plumbing tasks will also form part of the job, including tap replacements, radiator installations, and general plumbing maintenance.
You’ll work closely with a team and coordinate with other trades on-site, such as carpenters and electricians, to deliver quality service to domestic and commercial clients. They work extensively with letting agencies, handling boiler breakdowns, heating issues, and general plumbing maintenance across Cambridge.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Certifications: Gas Safe certification and unvented cylinder qualification preferred
* Education: NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (preferred)
* Experience: Ideally, experience in a similar role with a mix of domestic and commercial clients
* Skills: Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools for effective assembly and repair
* Attributes: Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach to handling various plumbing tasks
