Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant (Specialist Resource Base - Visual Impairment)
Cardiff-Based Secondary School
Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a Specialist Resource Base, providing tailored support to a pupil with visual impairment.
This is a full-time, long-term role, starting immediately, with the potential for a permanent contract for outstanding candidates.
About the Role
* Start date: ASAP
* Hours: Full-time
* Pay: Excellent rates from £90 per day
* Location: Cardiff-based secondary school
What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting pupils with visual impairments in an educational setting.
* Proficiency in Braille and creating bespoke resources to enhance learning for pupils with visual impairments.
* Ability to support pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
* A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach to meet the needs of the pupil.
