Job Opportunity: Teacher for Specialist Resource Base
Fabulous Cardiff Secondary School
Are you a passionate and experienced Teacher with a commitment to supporting children with Additional Learning Needs? We are working with a fantastic Cardiff Secondary School to recruit a Teacher for their Specialist Resource Base, starting in January.
This full-time, long-term role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils and could lead to a permanent contract with the school following a successful trial period.
About the Role
* Start date: January
* Hours: Full-time
* Pay: Excellent rates starting from £166.32 per day
* Class size: Small classes of around 8 pupils
* Support: A team of experienced support staff available in every class
The resource base caters to pupils with Additional Learning Needs, including Autism. All pupils have statements of special educational needs and are of mixed ability. Many also access mainstream classes, with tailored support from the base.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Primary or Secondary Teacher with experience teaching children with ALN.
* A caring and flexible approach to meet the varied needs of pupils.
* A strong ability to work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals.
* Experience working with children with Autism or similar needs is highly beneficial.
