Duties & Responsibilities Working in the Project Controls environment, manage and maintain project schedule by: Planning and setting up of project schedule with project stakeholders input using Primavera Following project planning processes and company procedure on all assigned projects Ensure consistency and reliable progress reporting Highlight any deviation within the programme to the Project Manager, and assist with innovative and appropriate planning advice Implement planning logic, understanding inter dependencies and knock-on effects Highlight critical path, Earned Value and appropriate resource loading Track baseline vs actual progress on schedules Highlight risks to ensure project completion on time - raise early warnings with possible impacts to project schedule Weekly reporting to internal and external parties by means of schedule updates and progress reporting Assist subcontractors, align, and integrate project schedules and progress reports The role/s may require time on site either part of the week or full time based on the project phase Understanding of bespoke consulting business models and ability to do business development Desired Experience & Qualification Relevant qualification essential, professional registration highly recommended 6 -10 years experience in the mining / EPCM industry Experience in a similar role, planning of large construction and installation projects essential Solid Primavera P6 and MS Projects knowledge essential Sound Understanding of fabrication and installation projects in the mining environment Knowledge of a Consulting role advantageous Driven Can-do attitude, with a passion for mega projects in the mining industry Process orientated and assertive to ensure that complex projects are executed in accordance with company established practices and safety requirements Bias for action, based on logical problem solving and experience Able to work under pressure and to communicate effectively with a wide range of project stakeholders Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the outputs Analytical thinker, energetic and flexible EPCM Contract experience advantageous Power BI experience recommended Must be willing to travel to project sites Must be medically fit to work on mining sites Package & Remuneration Market related - negotiable depending on qualifications and experience Permanent position on long term mega projects, with the intention of becoming Australian perm resident Interested?
