Job Advert: KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, Castle Vale
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A welcoming primary school in Castle Vale is seeking a dedicated KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. They need someone who is going to be committed and will go above and beyond for the pupils they are working with. This is a long term role and a successful candidate will be expected to work full time, monday to friday, term time only.
About the Role:
* Provide tailored 1-1 support for children with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
* Plan and lead focused sessions to support individual learning and development.
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement effective strategies for each child.
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g., Education, Childcare, or SEN Support).
* Proven experience working with children who have additional needs.
* Confidence in leading sessions to foster learning and engagement.
* A nurturing and proactive approach to helping children thrive.
