Job Title: Learning Support Assistant SEN

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary:
£90 - £110 Per day
Job Duties:
Providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
Assisting SEN students with their learning and personal development
Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
Supporting the teacher in delivering tailored teaching activities
Helping SEN students to integrate and participate in classroom activities
Assisting with personal care and mobility needs of SEN students
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support SEN students
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Knowledge of SEN educational practises and strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education:
GCSE qualifications in English and Maths

Knowledge of SEN educational practises and strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
Work in a classroom setting
Regular interaction with SEN students, teachers, and parents
Potential for personal care assistance
Full-time hours on a contract basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
