Job Title: HR Advisor
Pay Rate: £17.54 - £18.99 per hour
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Wyre Forest District Council
Working Hours: 20 hours per week
Contract: 3-month assignment with potential for a permanent position
About the Role
Wyre Forest District Council is seeking a skilled HR Advisor to provide professional, customer-focused HR support to managers, employees, and partners. This role encompasses a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, absence management, policy development, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive HR advice in line with policies, procedures, and employment law.
Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
Manage absence, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
Assist in organisational changes, including restructuring and TUPE processes.
Deliver HR training sessions and support staff learning and development.
Promote employee wellbeing, health, and equality initiatives.About You:
Associate CIPD membership or equivalent HR experience.
Proven experience in an HR advisory role.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
Ability to analyse data and manage multiple priorities effectively.
