Conveyancing Secretary (Full-Time/Part-Time)
Derby DE23 – Office based
Salary: dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Assist conveyancers and solicitors with property transactions, including sales, purchases, and transfers.
Prepare and manage legal documents such as contracts, deeds, and land registry applications.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth progress of cases.
Conduct searches, file documents with HM Land Registry, and manage online submissions.
Organize and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and track deadlines.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in conveyancing or as a legal secretary is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., Case Management Systems).
Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
