We are seeking an experienced Business Process Manager to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, manage a small team, and drive process improvement strategies aligned with our strategic vision.
About the Role
The Business Process Manager plays a vital role in defining the current and future states of business processes. Leveraging process modelling, Lean/Six Sigma principles, and business analysis techniques, you’ll identify risks, mitigate issues, and deliver innovative solutions.
In addition to delivering high-quality process documentation, you’ll work closely with Agile development teams to translate technology requirements and manage a team responsible for ensuring outputs meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform process and business analysis across diverse functions, including IT, Finance, HR, Construction, and Planning.
- Challenge and improve “as-is” and “to-be” processes to embed effectiveness within a fast-paced, high-growth organisation.
- Use Lean/Six Sigma principles to identify and model process improvements, ensuring documentation meets BPMN2 standards.
- Develop process models that enable future process mining and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and identifying opportunities for process automation.
- Manage a small team, ensuring their development and the quality of their outputs.
- Assist the Business Solutions Manager in preparing prioritisation documents and proposals for senior governance forums.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Lean Practitioner qualification.
- Proven experience in process analysis, including creating BPMN2-compliant documentation.
- Experience using BPM tools (e.g., Signavio).
- Strong knowledge of LEAN principles, value stream mapping, and process mining.
- Ability to evaluate undocumented processes, creating accurate “as-is” maps and reengineering processes to address root causes.
- Team management experience with a focus on delivering results.
- Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills.
Desirable:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above.
- Telecoms or construction industry experience.
- Experience using BPMN2 processes to develop RPA opportunities.
- Familiarity with high-growth or high-intensity environments.
