Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the oil, gas, and construction industries to join our team in Saudi Arabia . The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in electrical design, installation, and maintenance of systems within large-scale, high-stakes projects, ensuring all operations meet industry safety standards, cost-efficiency, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities : Lead electrical engineering design and implementation for oil, gas, and construction projects. Develop detailed electrical plans, specifications, and layouts for new installations and system upgrades. Manage the design and installation of electrical systems for power distribution, lighting, control systems, and instrumentation. Ensure compliance with safety codes, environmental standards, and project requirements. Oversee the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment. Prepare and review electrical design calculations, drawings, and other technical documentation. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure alignment of all engineering efforts. Supervise contractors and ensure timely delivery of electrical components and systems. Ensure the maintenance of electrical systems and provide ongoing technical support. Identify and resolve electrical system issues and ensure optimal performance throughout the lifecycle of the project. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. Participate in client meetings, project reviews, and provide regular progress reports. Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil, gas, and construction industries . In-depth knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing, and maintenance procedures. Strong experience with power distribution, electrical control systems, automation, and instrumentation. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar). Thorough understanding of electrical safety standards and codes (e.g., IEC, NEC). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. Knowledge of local Saudi Arabian regulations and safety standards is a plus. Preferred Skills : Certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer, etc.).
