Job Description Key responsibilities: Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive business sales strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Provide guidance and direction with cross-functional teams to define strategic sales initiatives and prioritize resource allocation to achieve business growth and profitability. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and adjust as needed. Provide strong leadership to the commercial team, setting clear objectives and expectations, and fostering a high-performance culture to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Build and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Develop a distributor management process that leads to quota growth and cross-selling. Negotiate and manage contracts with distributors, representatives, and other business partners to optimize terms and conditions. Develop and propose annual sales growth plans for the European region, ensuring alignment with strategy. Schedule key activities/projects to increase market share, ensuring integration with other elements of the organization. Manage sales budget plans. Manage and report on performance within the sales department; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives. The Successful Applicant Job requirements: Over 10 years of proven success in selling solutions to B2B customers and distributors, more than half of which in leadership and sales management positions. A background in a fast-paced B2B industrial and technology sales environment is a must. A history of assisting sales teams in closing large deals and strategic partners. Experience in implementing and managing a metrics-based sales organisation. Additional qualifications and skills in this role include: Excellent growth performance and employee management skills. In-depth knowledge of sales processes and history of successful sales process installation. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of staff, customers, and partners. Demonstrated comfort in making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
