Analog Devices, Inc. is looking for motivated Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join our Digital Healthcare Power Management Integrated Circuit Group in Milan. Our mission is to design the next generation power IPs and PMICs to get Best-In-Class performances for wearable/medical applications. Focus on Ultra low quiescent, High-Efficiency, Smaller system solution size, Low Noise, Fast transient response. The candidate will be self-motivated, willing to learn exciting new technologies and develop new products, but also be able to work effectively within a talented group of individuals across multiple development locations. The candidate will join a team of Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal designers, Layout designers, Verification and Test engineers, implementing PMIC state of the art. Responsibilities Working within an analog/mixed-signal design team based in Milano (Italy), Catania (Italy) and San Jose (CA, USA). Contributing to the detailed definition and architecture development of high-performance mixed signal devices. IC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation. Using recommended design and verification techniques, tools & flows to produce efficient designs which meet all specified functional, power and timing objectives. Successful integration of blocks into larger mixed-signal systems. Supporting other job functions such as layout, lab evaluation and test to ensure successful delivery meeting all requirements. Continuing to improve analog design methodologies consistent with the group’s wider business objectives to reduce time and cost to market. Requirements Electronic Engineering degree or PhD level with 3 years’ experience as an analog/mixed signal IC designer. Candidates should have a good knowledge of analog and mixed signal electronics, tools and flows. Design experience with circuits such as DC/DC switching converters, LDOs, bandgaps, bias circuits and mixed signal top level verification is an advantage. Teamwork attitude and communication skills are required. The successful candidate will be expected to take a full cell ownership role and contribute to the development of new products from architecture selection to implementation and debug. Experience of integrating analog blocks (converters, power management, etc.) in complex PMICs systems would be an advantage. Some limited travel should be expected. Usual travel locations could be Boston (USA), Catania (Italy), San Jose (USA).
