Job Description
Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by a Global FMCG business to recruit an experienced Procurement Category Manager. The successful applicant will be managing the Marketing & Sales spend for a large region of their business.
As a Category Manager, you’ll:
- Be an Indirect Procurement professional ideally with some Marketing/POS/Sales category experience.
- Be confident to negotiate strategic contracts
- Have worked within the FMCG industry
- Have strong stakeholder manager with good influencing skills
- Manage the full tender process for multi-million dollar spends/projects
Knowledge of e-sourcing systems would be beneficial and a degree/MCIPS (Desirable).
