Senior Radiographer - MRI
Location: Private Hospital (UK)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £42,500 per year
Sign-on Bonus: £2,000
We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to join the Imaging department at a leading private healthcare facility. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Key Details:
* Hours: 37.5 per week, with a flexible shift pattern.
* Specialty: MRI.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
* Current registration with the Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC).
* General radiographic training and background, with specialized MRI experience.
* Familiarity with IT systems such as RIS/PACS.
* Knowledge of healthcare systems and processes.
* Understanding of Radiation Regulations and professional codes of conduct (e.g., College of Radiographers and HCPC).
* Functional skills in Maths and English (GCSE grades A to C or equivalent).
Responsibilities:
* Participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department, ensuring a consistent, high-quality service for patients and visitors.
* Perform general and specialized radiographic procedures to high technical and quality standards, assessing patients and determining appropriate radiographic techniques.
* Undertake imaging examinations in line with department protocols, ensuring radiation safety and protection.
* Observe local rules, systems of work, and departmental policies to maintain best practices in radiation safety and patient care.
