Job Description
Demand Planner // Rochester – Hybrid 3 days on site // 12 Month FTC // £43,000 per annum
My client, a leading manufacturer committed to delivering high quality products and innovative solutions to their customers, are currently recruiting for a Demand Planner on an initial 12 month FTC basis. The purpose of this role is to provide accurate supply chain planning to ensure all required stock is purchased in a timely manner.
Role and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analysing sales trends, historical data, and market dynamics
Identify and resolve supply chain constraints to ensure timely product availability and smooth operations
Produce the departments on time delivery KPI’s
Aiding other members of the Supply Chain team as required
Support the implementation of demand planning systems and tools to improve forecast accuracy and streamline processes.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to understand demand drivers and anticipate changes in demand patterns.
Experience and expertise:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
3+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ERP systems and processes
Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals and objectives.
