Who are Stafffinders
Stafffinders are Scotland’s longest-running, independent, family-led business, very much at the forefront of temporary and permanent Scottish recruitment for over 50 years. Our values and ethics are in line with our family background, a trait we continue to carry throughout all business operations.
Despite our age, we are a modern, technology-led business, providing our consultants with all the cutting-edge tools to be successful. Our dedicated in-house innovation & automation department are consistently creating new advancements, whether it be to remove the mundane, time-consuming admin tasks from your day, or helping with candidate sourcing, job advertising and business development.
With contemporary offices, situated West and East Coast, we cover the whole of Scotland and beyond, focusing on a variety of recruitment divisions, in both the permanent and temporary markets.
We also work closely with both community and charity organisations, raising awareness and funds for charities such as MND Scotland, RAMH and this year’s chosen partner, Alzheimer’s Scotland.
What we want from you
To succeed as a temp desk Hospitality Consultant, you will be somebody who thrives on interacting with a variety of people, whether they be chefs, waiting staff or housekeepers. You should be a proactive individual, highly organised, driven, possess a keen eye for detail and take great pride and self-satisfaction in following tasks through to completion. Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, pressured (yet fun) environment is essential, as is the ability to multi-task.
Key responsibilities of the role include building and maintaining client relationships, pre-screening candidates including right to work checks, collating weekly timesheets for payroll, online candidate searching, database/booking management, and also promptly dealing with any and all queries and issues as they arise, in a professional manner.
You should have tremendous administration skills, be very much IT comfortable, as well as have fantastic customer service skills. Time management is vital, as you will need to work quickly to meet strict targets and deadlines, often at short notice. As you will be dealing with candidates and clients face-to-face (or via telephone or online), you should have excellent communication skills and immaculate presentation.
Given the nature and importance of the role, this is a full-time office-based position.
If you feel you fit in with the above summary and you want to be a real difference-maker, we want to hear from you now!
