About the Role:
TeacherActive are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a large Secondary School based in Swindon who is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Female PE Teacher to join their vibrant Physical Education department. The role is to start in January 2025 and will continue through to the end of the academic year. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a love for sports among female students. You'll have the chance to foster confidence, resilience, and a healthy lifestyle through engaging and inclusive activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and effective PE lessons.
Encourage and motivate students to participate in physical activities.
Develop tailored programs for students of varying abilities.
Promote teamwork, leadership, and a positive attitude towards fitness.
Organise and supervise school sports events and extracurricular activities.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
Requirements:
Qualified PE Teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Specialism or experience in teaching PE to female students preferred.
Strong communication and motivational skills.
Passion for sports and physical education.
Ability to inspire students and lead by example.
