Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Supervisor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Mechanical Supervisor, will be responsible for:
* Lead and supervise a team of mechanical engineers and technicians.
* Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within the facility.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues.
* Coordinate with other departments to support seamless facility operations.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
* Manage and monitor the performance of mechanical equipment and systems.
* Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues effectively.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
To be successful for this Mechanical Supervisor role you must have:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within facilities management or a similar environment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building automation.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
