About the role of a Mechanical Site Manager
As a Mechanical Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing a specific site and ensuring all works are completed within time and to budget. The projects the company work on range between £1 - £150 million. Day to day duties include communicating with the team, preparing site reports for Contact Managers, and ensuring all works are on time and dealing with any day-to-day issues that may arise.
Experience/Qualifications for a Mechanical Site Manager
- A degree in Construction Site Management or similar.
- Track record of excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate site teams to work to strict build programmes and deadlines & exceed client expectations.
- Excellent planning & time management skills with the ability to think ahead & manage risk.
Key Responsibilities for a Mechanical Site Manager
- Report on project progress to the Project Contracts Manager.
- Manage and coordinate a skilled team of in-house staff and subcontractors.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Ensure all health & safety protocols are maintained for staff and subcontractors.
- Represent the company in client and main contractor meetings.
- Oversee daily site activities, labour levels, and project timelines.
