Job Description

The responsibilities of the Contract Compliance and Monitoring Manager include a focus on performance monitoring, contract compliance and audits / reporting on service delivery.

Key areas of service delivery to support the company ethos of ‘Life, Law, Business’:

Life (People Focused):

  • Provide leadership, operational excellence, support and advice to on site teams.
  • Implement development/corrective plans as required following audits.
  • Monitor and report to Contract Manager on training requirements across the teams – core, competence and developmental, ensuring required training is appropriate and valid.
  • Ensure the site has appropriate level of authorised personnel to meet the demands of the contract.
  • Support new staff members, to ensure Policies & Procedures, processes etc. are understood and adhered to.
  • Provide support to less experienced members of the team.
  • Role model behaviours, values and integrity at all times.


Law (Legal Compliance):

  • Ensure delivery of statutory and non-statutory compliance across allocated site/s.
  • Carry out documented checks and measures for, compliance and service.
  • Full understand the Service Provision Agreement/Service Contract and understand the contract deliverables and payment mechanism, including penalties for poor performance and/or unavailability.
  • Ensure site services are delivered in line with contractual and statutory requirements, to mitigate possibility of service failure deductions.
  • Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place and reviewed regularly to keep them valid.
  • Review of O&M Manuals held on site to ensure updated information is in the folders


Business (Commercial Awareness):

  • Identify to the Contract Manager any failings of PPM which require addressing.
  • Ensure correlation of PPM and lifecycle and project plans in line with 1-5 year lifecycle plans.
  • Interrogate reports from Helpdesk and ensure accurate contractual interpretation and application of service failures for any non-conformities
  • Ensure CAFM data accuracy for asset data, location/space, room data sheets and PPM planning, ensuring any changes are fully documented and approved as required.
  • Report any issue immediately that may affect the service user/service of the site.
  • Management of specific projects as dictated by the needs of the business.
  • Deliver, support and provide accurate information for any audits that are completed for sites.
