Job Description

Location : Head Office, Cape Town Contract : Year-to-year contract This non-profit organisation, that has been around for over a decade, is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team. Purpose of the Role: The Finance Manager will oversee financial management, audit compliance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Minimum Requirements: CA(SA) with at least 3 years experience in finance, accounting, and management. 2 years post-articles experience. Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling. Advantageous: PEPFAR audit experience. Clear credit and criminal record. Excellent English communication skills. Valid drivers license (Code 08). Key Responsibilities: Oversee project bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and compliance. Ensure funder and statutory deadlines are met. Manage project audits (internal/external) and VAT accounting. Handle cash flow and inter-account transfers. Deliver insightful financial reporting to stakeholders. Lead and manage the finance team effectively. Skills and Attributes: Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
