Job Description
Key Performance Areas: Develop SCM policy, the purpose is to ensure compliance with National Treasure Regulations, PFMA and other practice notes. Establish and implement processes and procedures for procuring goods and services. This is to ensure that internal controls are in place and adhered to: Make sure that irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure is avoided. Manage the organizations Tendering and RFQ processes, by ensuring that bid committees are established to ensure compliance with PFMA and National Treasury Regulations. Managing the suppliers contracts by ensuring that long-term contracts are entered info for continuous supply and or provision of service. Negotiate long-term contracts to ensure good value and reliable services. Maintain good relationships with the suppliers. Preferred Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in (Supply Chain, Finance or Public Admin) Minimum Experience Required: 8 years experience, 3 years should be in management.
