Employer Description Hotel and Conference centre in Midrand Job Description Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics Attend sales meetings with senior management Conduct market research on target audiences Generate reports for management Monitor and report competitor activity Coordinate and distribute promotional materials Maintain a comprehensive client and contract database Conduct telesales and face-to-face sales calls Meet or exceed sales targets Participate in travel functions and industry events Visit and maintain relationships with key clients Qualifications Relevant Hospitality/Sales Diploma Skills Minimum of 2 years hotel/conference venue sales experience High degree of self-motivation and ambition High level of customer service orientation, discipline, organisational skills, attention to detail, and a strong drive to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in IsiXhosa, IsiZulu, or Afrikaans is an advantage Previous experience in Groups, Conferences and Events sales Previous experience in various market sectors i.e. Corporate, Government, Travel Management Companies and Professional Conference Organisers Own vehicle required Benefits Travel allowance, company cell phone, commission
