Essity B 294.8 (-3 SEK) on 19-Dec-2024 17:32 We are seeking a Product Quality Engineer to join our team in Altopascio. In this role, you will work within the Quality team, playing a crucial part in driving product changes within the plant, leading innovation initiatives, optimizing the product portfolio, and implementing cost-saving strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Material Engineers, Plant Owners, Market Teams, R&D, and more. What You Will Do Support the Quality & Initiative Manager in driving and coordinating product portfolio optimization within your area of competence. Lead the execution of innovation projects, market-specific initiatives, and cost-saving measures. Manage initiatives in the system, ensuring mandatory documentation related to validation processes is uploaded and tracked. Collaborate with stakeholders to execute product, material, and equipment optimization actions. Organize and lead meetings to coordinate new product launches, changes, and value engineering (VE) initiatives. Oversee risk assessments, test plans, reports, and readiness checklists for all initiatives. Partner with Material Engineers to develop new materials that align with stakeholder requests and specifications. Coordinate material management during phase-in and phase-out processes for new product variants. Work with the Global Innovation Team (GBIS) and local market teams to gather input for new innovations and value-creation opportunities. Ensure flawless project launches within your area of competence. Who You Are A degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields. A minimum of internship experience or up to 1 year in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or product management environment. Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Knowledge of risk assessment, validation processes, and project management tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English. A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation.
