ELI - Product & Recovery Improvement Analyst Apply locations: IT - Varese - Cascina Costa Time type: Full time Posted on: Posted 3 Days Ago Time left to apply: End Date: February 17, 2025 (30 days left to apply) Job requisition id: R0014191 Job Description: Product Recovery & Improvement (PR&I) is committed to pursue and implement improvement to the original design taking into consideration the feedback coming from in-service experience, with the aim to enhance products reliability and Customer satisfaction. The resource will work supporting the PR&I CP in the role of PR&I analyst with competencies on stress analysis. In the role, he will perform detailed analysis following the criteria of design of machines and of science of construction. He will prepare Finite Element models and perform analysis. To perform the analysis and modelling activity he will start from both CATIA models and conception that he will manage directly by himself. The activity will involve design and analysis of primary and secondary structures. He will provide stress Reports and will perform activity of design and support to the designers. It would be desirable, a person having already competencies in a Technical Disciplines department. Some experience with Maintenance disciplines and with fleets customers' needs would be a valuable skill. In addition to the stress analysis, she/he will be, as PRI analyst, in charge of: managing the analysis, the investigation, the proposal and the deployment of solutions to fix in-service failures and lacks of performance; preparation of technical reports in support of the investigation and analyses tasks; preparation of technical reports in support of Maintenance documentation tasks, being partner of Customer Support teams in ensuring the correct implementation into the Maintenance documentation. Qualifications: Master degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Level of experience: experience as stress Engineer on both metallic and composite materials at least 5 years of experience in engineering (Technical Disciplines and/or CPE Office and/or Sustaining Engineering) and/or production (FAL and/or Manufacturing Engineering) and/or Customer Support (Product Support Engineering) Technical skills: good knowledge of airframe structural/mechanical design and design concepts for Fatigue/DT general knowledge of aircraft behavior, aerodynamics and systems knowledge of helicopter general architecture and systems integration (basic and customized helicopter) knowledge of technical configuration, technical documents management and design/certification process knowledge of EO/EBOM/3Dmodels/2Ddrawings (part/assembly/installation) management and development process knowledge of materials, protective/thermal treatments, manufacturing processes and aerospace standards good experience in inspection of components new and from service (preferred) good experience with the mechanical shops, maintenance and production (preferred) knowledge of Configuration Management process (preferred) knowledge of Occurrence Reporting and/or Warranty Claim management process (preferred) Languages: good English language knowledge is requested IT skills: basic knowledge of design and configuration tools (Catia V4-V5/VPM/Enovia/MyDBT) basic knowledge of software FEM, capability in programming languages Microsoft Office Suite SAP (preferred) Microsoft Power BI (preferred) Soft skills: planning and organization, problem solving, good interpersonal/communication skills and high attitude for team working (multiple interfaces management) high proactivity and constructive spirit of initiative, ability to work multiple projects and multi-tasking approach sensitivity to customers’ complains and needs availability to short national/international travels Seniority: Primary Location: IT - Varese - Cascina Costa Additional Locations: Contract Type: Permanent Hybrid Working: J-18808-Ljbffr
