Residential Groundworks Quantity Surveyor
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

They are looking for a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious residential developments, contributing to the financial success of projects while ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and managing project budgets, cost forecasts, and valuations.
* Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with the financial plan.
* Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments.
* Producing and managing accurate cost reports and financial statements.
* Negotiating contracts and variations with clients and subcontractors.
* Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.
* Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and legal requirements.
* Providing detailed financial advice and support to the project team.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within residential groundworks.
* Strong understanding of groundworks processes and costings in residential developments.
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in industry-standard software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of relevant construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
* Full UK driving license.
