Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) & Quantity Surveyor (QS)

⏳ Start Date: PCSA – February 2025 (18-month project duration)


Role Overview

A Tier 1 main contractor is hiring for two exciting roles—Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) and Quantity Surveyor (QS)—to support a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a £40m industrial project in Guildford. This project includes constructing a large MOT and service station, a multi-story car park, and a modern big shed with upper-floor offices. The ideal candidates will bring NEC contract experience and a passion for delivering high-quality industrial projects.


Key Responsibilities

✔️ Assist the SQS in managing all financial and commercial aspects of the project.

✔️ Procure subcontract packages and manage cost reporting.

✔️ Handle applications for payment, valuations, and change management.

✔️ Collaborate with the design and construction teams to ensure budget compliance.


What We’re Looking For

NEC Knowledge: Strong understanding of NEC4A contracts is essential.

Industrial Experience: Prior involvement in industrial, depot, or infrastructure projects is a bonus.

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
