Estates Director

Our client, home to the UK's largest and most exciting creative community, are seeking an Estates & IT Director to lead a dynamic team in one of London’s most iconic cultural hubs.

The Role:

As Estates & IT Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining their stunning heritage site, overseeing IT and estate operations, and contributing to the strategic leadership of our client. Your leadership will ensure that both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic objectives are met, including the conservation of their historic site and spearheading the restoration following a recent fire.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the estates and IT teams to ensure safe, efficient, and future-proof operations.

• Developing and delivering sustainability strategies.

• Overseeing digital transformation projects to modernise our clients systems and processes.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the workspace and physical infrastructure

for staff, residents, and visitors.

• Managing third-party contractors and budgets, ensuring excellent value for money.

What You Bring:

We’re looking for an experienced leader with a background in estates and IT management, ideally within heritage, events, or commercial sectors. You’ll have:

• A proven track record in change management and transformation.

• Strong leadership skills, motivating teams to balance operational and strategic needs.

• Commercial awareness, ensuring financial efficiency and supporting growth.

• Experience working across complex multi-use sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.

• The ability to lead digital transformation initiatives and manage IT infrastructures.
